The Account Executive will be responsible for driving new business in the specialized diagnostic testing market, focusing on large specialty physician practices (e.g., dermatology, plastic surgery) and specialty clinics. This role will work in close partnership with other field-based sales teams to ensure a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.This is a field-based position covering Western Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Westchester, and the Bronx, NY.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies, including pre-call planning, post-call follow-up, and ongoing account engagement.Identify and secure new business opportunities.Provide expertise and ongoing support to new and existing clients.Leverage insurance access to increase discretionary business.Utilize internal resources, including marketing, laboratory teams, and data tools, to maximize results.Maintain a strong knowledge of connectivity solutions and present tailored proposals.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the dermatology and melanoma markets.Collaborate with pathology teams to address customer needs and market trends.Offer solutions to improve practice efficiency, including MIPS and TC/PC workflow enhancements.Partner with oncology account executives for cross-specialty initiatives.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years' experience in healthcare, laboratory, diagnostic, or pharmaceutical sales.At least 3 years' experience in dermatology-focused diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or related fields; precision medicine experience preferred.Strong medical/scientific knowledge, with an understanding of genetics and molecular diagnostics.Experience managing large accounts.Bachelor's degree required.
