Job Description:Medical Assistant / Certified Medical AssistantSchedule: Monday–Friday, Full-TimeMercy Clinic Orthopedic Surgery - Edmond I-35 NorthOverview:Responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing patient care to clinic patients under the supervision of physicians/nurse practitioner and the leader.Qualifications:Medical Assistant:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
  • Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Certified Medical Assistant:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certifications: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
