You will be responsible for developing and executing mid- to long-term sourcing strategies that support the company’s global logistics and supply chain vision. This role will lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and network optimization for parcel services across domestic and international markets, while also overseeing strategic sourcing and performance management of Lead Logistics Providers (LLPs) and freight bill audit partners.What You Will DoStrategic LeadershipEstablish and implement critical sourcing strategies for parcel logistics that align with enterprise supply chain objectives.Own and continuously improve the company’s parcel purchasing activities, driving innovation and operational excellence.Develop and execute 2–3 year strategic plans addressing capacity, production location decisions, and global distribution networks.Supplier & Partner ManagementDirect supplier selection based on total value—including price, quality, service, support, reliability, and reputation.Lead complex negotiations and renegotiations with parcel carriers, LLPs, and freight audit providers to secure optimal terms.Administer contracts and ensure compliance with service-level agreements and performance standards.Oversee sourcing and ongoing management of Lead Logistics Providers, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational efficiency.Lead sourcing and performance oversight of freight bill and audit service providers to ensure accuracy, transparency, and cost control.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, and commercial teams to identify sourcing needs and opportunities.Communicate sourcing strategies and performance outcomes to senior executive leadership.Influence internal and external stakeholders to adopt innovative sourcing practices and solutions.Problem Solving & InnovationAnalyze complex, multi-dimensional logistics challenges to uncover root causes and design cutting-edge solutions.Improve existing systems and processes through conceptual reasoning and collaboration with industry experts.Monitor market trends and identify best practices to enhance parcel, LLP, and audit provider sourcing strategies.TravelTravel required 20%Qualifications You Must HaveBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, logistics, or supply chain management.Qualifications We PreferAdvanced degree (MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain/Logistics).Proven expertise in domestic and international parcel sourcing, LLP management, and freight audit provider sourcing.Familiarity with parcel carrier operations, LLP frameworks, freight audit systems, and performance metrics.Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with experience briefing senior leadership.Experience in a global manufacturing or aerospace environment.What We Offer: Whether you’re just starting out on your career journey or are an experienced professional, we offer a robust total rewards package with compensation; healthcare, wellness, retirement and work/life benefits; career development and recognition programs. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
