Our competitive compensation and benefit programs reflect Boehringer Ingelheim's high regard for our employees.The Associate Director, Patient Access Solutions Performance Monitoring will develop the strategy and implement a performance monitoring plan for all patient support programs through dashboards, reporting in partnership with our patient services vendors. This role gains insights for the end-to-end patient journey, including co-pay, adherence, hub operations, external landscape/monitoring, and overall program strategy & market dynamics as well as program design.The incumbent will be accountable for partnering with various franchise, PSS and market access teams, with a significant focus on ensuring that we bring analytics rigor to all patient facing programs and helping to drive/influence key decisions.This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Establishes dashboards and reporting/monitoring tools to assess program performance and translate data into insights to manage performance and evolve our patient support programs.
  • Establishes patient services performance KPIs and continually assess impact of key patient support program initiatives.
  • Manages vendor analytics and reporting for timely delivery of analyses in collaboration with our analytics and insights team.
  • Drives design and performance of patient programs by leveraging insights and analytics.
  • Champions new innovative analytical solutions in partnership with the analytics & insights team to help deliver personalized and customized experience to our patients.
  • Leads and coaches a team to manage quality, compliance and performance across internal cross functional teams and vendor(s) that provide services to Boehringer Ingelheim US Patient Services in support of our patients.
  • Identifies development areas and opportunities to grow and develop team members.
  • Drives decision making via a disciplined, hypothesis-driven approach utilizing data and analyses to shape the findings into executive level presentations highlighting key actions.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree; advanced degree preferred.
  • Three to five (3-5) years relevant data analytics, market access, marketing, patient services or related experience.
  • Ability to manage and analyze large amounts of data across multiple vendor and patient support programs.
  • Creation of dashboards and ability to derive insights out of patient support program data along the entire journey.
  • Experience with management of patient services data and demonstrated financial acumen preferred.
  • Experience in leading and managing cross-functional projects internally and across vendors to enhance or update support programs as needed.
  • Successful track record of managing external vendors.
  • Detailed understanding of affordability and patient support program data.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturer compliance requirements, HIPAA regulations.
  • Several years' experience working with or in Patient Services HUBs preferable.
  • Experience with specialty products preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in Medicare Part Band D. Reimbursement process, specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Experience in Stakeholder management and driving collaboration across cross- functional teams.
