- Lead by Example: Demonstrate punctuality, strong communication, and exceptional service standards to motivate and manage our Food & Beverage staff across all outlets.
- Supervise & Develop: Manage daily operations and provide coaching, training, and development for restaurant supervisors, bartenders, servers, and all service staff. Conduct performance reviews at 45, 90, and 180-day intervals to track progress and help staff grow.
- Operational Excellence: Assist with budget management, focusing on service labor, liquor, beer, and wine costs. Maintain accurate inventories, review and process invoices, and ensure adherence to the department’s financial goals.
- Optimize Operations: Oversee the NorthStar reservation system, manage cover counts, and streamline reservation bookings. Collaborate with management to create and execute marketing initiatives, promotions, and special events that elevate the dining experience for our members.
- Hospitality Innovation: Stay on top of the latest food and beverage trends, creating new programs, events, and promotions that keep the MAC dining experience fresh, fun, and engaging.
- Staff Scheduling & Budgeting: Use Dayforce to create weekly schedules that ensure optimal staffing levels, always keeping the department within budgetary guidelines while exceeding member expectations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Leadership Skills: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Food & Beverage management, including both front and back-of-house operations. A natural leader with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
- Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of fine dining and casual dining environments, as well as the latest trends in the hospitality industry. Experience with POS systems (preferably NorthStar) and inventory management is highly preferred.
- Hospitality Mindset: A passion for exceptional service and a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver an outstanding dining experience. Your approach to service is hands-on and team-oriented.
- Education & Certifications: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Must hold current Food Handler and OLCC permits.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in computer applications including Windows, Word, Excel, and POS systems.
