- Manage the relationship between clients(s), potential clients, and teaming partners. Interface with IDIQ administrators, marketing and business development managers, technical customers, and agency contracting officers.
- Promote the effective use of IDIQ vehicles for profitable growth.
- Provide expert guidance and advice to Leidos organizations, and train Leidos personnel in the use of the IDIQs and Other Transaction (OT) acquisition pathways.
- Support organizations throughout Leidos as they sell and deliver work under the IDIQs and OT consortiums.
- Monitor and evaluate potential and performance of key IDIQ vehicles including market share, win/loss ratio, B&P expenditures, cost of capital, and business growth resulting from expanded/new scope of existing work with current clients, new marketed work with new clients, and unsolicited opportunities.
- Perform, coordinate, and oversee technical marketing efforts internal and external to Leidos.
- Develop and maintain marketing materials, including website development, catalogs, brochures, newsletters, press releases, and trade shows.
- Lead the operational, financial, and technical performance of the organization.
- Direct budget preparation and cost/schedule variance analyses.
- Maintain an environment conducive to professional growth and staff development.
- Communicate with diverse parties internally and externally at senior levels.
- Conduct training on process, best practices, and lessons learned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12+ years of related experience in business development, program management and/or contract administration
- Leadership skills to develop, organize and execute activities
- GSA FEDSIM capture experience.
- Exceptional verbal communications skills and prior experience briefing executives/
- Experience with developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships, including with client decision-makers and industry partners/
- Demonstrable understanding of all contract types and impact on risk and business case
- Ability to work and execute a quick reaction process and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to influence constructively and interact at the highest levels of the corporate structure
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and business acumen.
- Willingness to travel, as necessary
- Demonstrated deep understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) relating to multiple award IDIQ contracts.
- Ability to lead local and geographically dispersed teams.
- Ability to use automated tools such as Microsoft Office to present ideas, information, and reports.
- Secret desired; not required.
