- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive analytics strategies to increase revenue and support the business goals of key AMBSE stakeholders
- Apply a continuous strategic problem-solving framework to quickly identify opportunities, prioritize analyses, and develop and communicate recommendations
- Analyze data from disparate sources, using various quantitative and qualitative methods, to inform executive level decision-making
- Oversee the integration of advanced predictive analytics and business intelligence tools into the operational workflow to enhance real-time decision-making
- Develop and implement data-backed solutions across the sales and marketing funnel, from lead generation to conversion to upsell to retention
- Develop expertise in AMBSE’s business intelligence environment, including data ETL and query work
- Build and manage dashboards through PowerBI to show progress on revenue goals and trends
- Continuously innovate on new methods of fan data capture, trend identification, and application of business analytics
- Own the cross-organizational project management of several priority initiatives at a time
- Lead effective executive and cross-functional meetings with limited oversight or feedback, representing the Revenue Strategy & Analytics department’s approach and point of view
- Perform ad hoc analyses and requests on any range of business-related topics with limited background, gathering context, data, and input from across the organization as needed
- Effectively manage the workload and development of analyst(s)
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 3+ years of experience in analytical strategy roles, including management consulting or corporate strategy/analytics
- Professional sports and/or entertainment experience preferred
- Highly capable problem solver, able to work on complex problems requiring strong analytical, conceptual, and quantitative ability
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrated experience building analytical and financial models from complex data sources
- Highly proficient in querying databases and SQL, with strong understanding of manipulating complex tables across disparate sources
- Highly proficient with data visualization software and managing real-time dashboards
- Proven track record in managing substantial analytical projects; familiarity with statistical modeling, forecasting, and data mining techniques preferred
- Executive-level communicator, including exceptional ability to build and craft executive-ready PowerPoint presentations and succinctly communicate complex thoughts through visual storytelling
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Proven leadership skills with experience in project management and the ability to drive projects to completion timely and effectively
- Past management or team leadership experience preferred
- Comfortable with ambiguity; demonstrated ability to draw and communicate insights and conclusions from imperfect information
- Self-starter; develops executive-quality outputs independently with little oversight or feedback needed
- High degree of workplace professionalism
