- New Jersey Instructional Certificate (Teacher of Mathematics or 5-8 Subject Matter Specialization in Mathematics)
- Extensive training/experience in teaching mathematics
- Solid knowledge of NJ Students Learning Standards and state assessment expectations
- Specialized training in working with at-risk students
- Proficient with hands-on learning and implementation of the Mathematical Practices
- Ability to plan and deliver differentiated, targeted instruction to students
- Able to maintain, interpret, and utilize student data for making instructional decisions
- Willingness to work collaboratively with building and district administration
- Minimum of five years successful teaching experience
- Bilingual (a plus)
