At IDT, you’ll be part of a culture rooted in continuous learning and improvement—where your growth fuels our mission to accelerate the pace of genomics and helps shape a healthier, brighter future for all.Learn about the which makes everything possible.The Facilities Technician supports the daily operations of IDT by maintaining water softeners installing and/or removing lab or office furniture and coordinating and assisting fellow employees with internal lab/office relocations.This position reports to the Manager of Facilities Maintenance, is part of the Facilities Team located in Coralville, Iowa , will be on-site weekday days, and may be on-call per the Facilities on call expectations.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Performs maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities ManagerTransports goods or equipment as assigned, perform snow removal and grounds maintenanceStocks and fills all water conditioning equipment (i.e. water softener)The essential requirements of the job includeHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Valid driver’s license required.Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for roleMust have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the building maintenance trades.IDT, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
