- Provides short to long term storage, rework, cross dock, picking/packing services
- Offers LTL Solutions for clients in need of more than just truckload servicesRole and Responsibilities:- Identify and vet potential carriers to build a network of reliable service providers
- Gather client information to determine their shipping needs
- Obtain and provide clients with shipping quotes from carriers
- Book required freight services with carriers for clients
- Coordinate pick-up and drop-off of shipments
- Monitor shipment progress to ensure timely and undamaged delivery
- Update customer management software to maintain accurate client records
- Advise clients on potential supply chain issues and solutionsRequirements:- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Background in Courier Sales is preferred
- Strong industry relationships are a must
- Proven ability to negotiate shipping rates with shippers and carriers
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Entrepreneurial mindset and drive for growth
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
- High-speed internet connection and phone for remote work
