Position SummaryBoard Certified Behavior Analyst - Full TimeSoutheast Missouri State University Autism Center for Diagnosis and TreatmentFull timeDuties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform assessment of individuals identified with an autism spectrum disorder to develop treatment plans, working with a multidisciplinary/educational team as needed
  • Create and implement treatment, as well as assisting team with implementation
  • Contribute to data collection for state initiatives
  • Work with in-house billing specialists, and insurance companies on authorizations for treatment and assessment, as well as keep treatment plans updated for insurance purposes
  • Provide ongoing supervision to the caseload of clients, as approved by insurance companies
  • Train and support caregivers and other stakeholders on treatment plans for individual clients
  • Provide ongoing training(s), support, and clinical supervision of registered behavior technicians/practicum students
  • Provide support and training for parents and caregivers.
  • Provide clinical supervision of registered behavior technicians/practicum students.
  • Maintain 25 hours/week of billable ABA services
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
  • Board certified as a Behavior Analyst and licensed/license eligible in the state of Missouri as a Behavior Analyst within 6 months of hire
  • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder for assessment and treatment purposes
  • Ability to supervise registered behavior technicians and/or practicum students, interns, and externs
  • Ability to establish collaborative partnerships within the University and among regional service providers
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
