The ideal candidate will have experience working in Jira and strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholders.   • Work alongside the Agile Lead to facilitate agile ceremonies as defined by the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), including Program Increment (PI) Planning, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Become comfortable with user story and acceptance criteria format and structure, to prepare for writing quality user stories and acceptance criteria with the Agile Lead’s support, becoming independent as you master the task.
  • Support Agile Lead and Business/Website Owners during meetings as they prioritize features, user stories, and tasks according to business value and SAFe guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team leads, design, development, QA, and the Agile Lead in support of clarifying requirements, identifying dependencies, and tracking progress in Jira during backlog refinement and throughout each PI and Sprint.
  • Assist the Agile Lead with preparation and follow-up on SAFe scrum ceremonies and client documentation, including keeping Jira up to date daily, preparing for and finalizing meeting documentation and materials, and additional documentation, as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by working with the Agile Lead to identify opportunities to streamline processes.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 2 years of direct experience as a Business Analyst or project support role in Agile environments.
  • Have familiarity with processes for gathering requirements, writing user stories, and acceptance criteria, with the goal of becoming proficient.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, and excellent documentation and record keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting federal government clients or working in a regulated environment.
  • Experience working in the Atlassian suite, including Confluence and Jira to manage requirements, stories, and workflows.
  • Experience, certification, or foundational coursework in Agile methodologies, the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), business analysis.
