Job Description:OverviewThrough the Promise Program, the Student Nurse Intern will assume responsibility and accountability for providing support services to ensure continuity of care and promote positive patient outcomes. The Student Nurse Intern will perform patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. They will assist patients with personal hygiene, nutrition, elimination, skin care, use of equipment and other clinical and administrative tasks which are delegated and assigned. The Student Nurse Intern will shadow a Registered Nurse as well as perform delegated support functions and patient care duties that are within the scope of practice for unlicensed assistive personnel. The Student Nurse Intern will demonstrate a commitment to teamwork through effective collaboration efforts.SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State ofArkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat toPatients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing andsupporting the delivery health care related services. Qualifications
Current enrollment in accredited BSN program
Completion of Junior-level year
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers
Completion of computer-based New Employee Orientation modules
