- Perform general labor and clean-up as requested, or as needed
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, measuring devices, etc.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for repair to ensure compatibility and safety
- Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, aerial lifts, wire tuggers, drills, and electrical hand tools.
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, or equipment
- Pull wire, place conduit, pipes or tubing, inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed or open areas
- Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting large parcels, or electrical equipment.
- Receive, properly store job site materials for effective job site coordination
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and able to consistently follow written processes and procedures
- Excellent mathematical skills are preferred
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to stand, lift, maneuver weights that may exceed 50lbs.
- Strong verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active CT Unlimited Electrical Journeyperson (E2) License
- Current OSHA 10 Certification is preferred
- Active Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
