Develop processes and evaluate the effectiveness and quality of the process while integrating into the production schedule.   • Follows established safety guidelines.
  • Develop processes for new products.
  • Create bending programs for part runs on Crippas, YLM, Schwarze, Pines #4/#6.
  • Ability to make bender adjustments to fix gross defects as well as clamp set-ups.
  • Know how to read customer prints.
  • Create worksheets based on customer prints for programming parts on benders (converting XYZ to LRA data).
  • Be able to change tooling on RFM's for various end form configurations.
  • Ability to alter and create programs on the ISM 6/10, TSM, RFM's, IES and eagle sizer.
  • Ability to create or alter pin stamps in Telesis.
  • Ability to use hand grinders.
  • Ability to use belt sander.
  • Ability to use a saw to cut parts (HEM, Dake, Ellis) .
  • Ability to use measuring equipment (goniometer, angle finders, tape measurers, micrometers, Romer arm).
  • Ability to program ROMER arm programs.
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision and able to manage a dynamic workload with changing priorities.
  • Ability to flex work schedule to produce parts on available machines.
  • Ability to use a MIG welder for tacking parts.
  • Ability to use check gauges for end configurations that require them.
  • Ability to work with others to have parts welded, insulated, and final full scan measurements done.
  • Communicates through the Engineering and Operations Manager on prototype builds and following priorities.
  • Ability to assist engineering in the estimating process by using the quote model.
  • Handles “Special” requests for internal and external customers.
  • Sets up and controls equipment and processes in order to meet part specifications.
  • Completes process steps to ensure work instructions are correct.
  • Develop/order racks, fixtures, or tooling needed for the work.
  • Ability to de-burrs or polish parts by use of grinder or buffer as needed.
  • Change tools on power equipment as needed.
  • Confers with the customer to provide technical advice to resolve problems and address value-added opportunities.
  • Responsible for developing travelers and/or visual work instructions.
  • Assures smooth transition to production by working with appropriate lines and auditing.
  • PIF, PIP, and PPAP documentation/development.
  • Assists and trains team members in the proper processes and procedures.
  • Helps troubleshoot quality and process problems.
  • Could potentially handle hazardous waste in containerizing, transporting, testing, or other assigned duties.
  • Environmental responsibility is our commitment to our communities.
  • Proper disposal of waste such as recyclables, standard waste, hazardous waste, etc. is expected.
  • Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals
  • Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:
  • Reports to: Operations Manager
QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.Education and/or Experience:Expected: High school diploma or equivalent experience in electroplating, fabrication, coatings, and/or polishing as well as customer service.Communication Skills:
  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
Other Skills:
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Able to work off hours and weekends to ensure customer delivery
  • Computer skills - Excel, Word, Navision
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to complete physical functions equivalent to Category B.
