The opportunityDelaware North Sportservice is hiring a seasonal Training Center Kitchen Prep Cook to join our team at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for working with the highest quality and freshest ingredients with progressive techniques, while partnering directly with the team's nutrition program.   • Prepare and cook meals following the team's nutrition program, using fresh, high-quality ingredients to meet dietary requirements and performance goals
  • Collaborate with the team's nutritionist and chefs to plan and execute balanced, nutritious menus
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are met while managing inventory and supplies efficiently
  • Manage daily menu changes
  • Provide services for 150 team members on a daily basis
More about you
  • Experience working with commercial kitchen equipment, such as in a high-volume kitchen or catering, preferred
  • Knife skills are a huge plus, but not necessary
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment and take on whatever task is needed in the kitchen
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to be on time every day
  • Discretion based on working in a private kitchen
  • No degree required
