SLU, which also has a campus in Madrid, Spain, is recognized for world-class academics, life-changing research, compassionate health care, and a strong commitment to faith and service.JOB DUTIESTeaching (50%) – Teach courses in organismal diversity, evolution, and ecology, and develop undergraduate and graduate biology courses. Research (40%) - Establish a vigorous, externally funded research program that engages and trains graduate (M.S. and Ph.D.) students and undergraduate students in modern field and lab-based approaches to understanding organismal diversity, evolution, and ecology. Service (10%) – Advise and mentor students, and serve on department and university committees.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • PhD in Biology or related area (can be foreign equivalent).
  • Postdoctoral experience in biology or related area.
  • Knowledge of ecological and evolutionary responses to global change and of collaborative network research and synthesis.
  • Publication record in scholarly journals.
