- Confirming that the Individual has taken his daily medication.
- A minimum of 20 paid daytime hours a week to support the Individual’s activities of daily living including, but not limited to: getting ready for work in the mornings, household chores such as assisting with laundry, organizing, cleaning and shopping, and meal preparation according to a calendar/schedule determined by the live-in-companion and the Individual. The schedule may be modified by mutual agreement of both parties. The live-in-companion is also welcome, but not required, to be present in the apartment at any time when they are not scheduled to be working.
- Five consecutive overnights (Sunday through Thursday), spent sleeping in the apartment, unpaid unless called to service. The live-in-companion is welcome, but not required, to stay in the apartments on Friday and Saturday nights as well.
- Maintain positive relationships and frequent communication with the Individual’s family, circle of support and other service providers.
- Administrative duties such as completing case notes, saving and itemizing receipts, petty cash reconciliation, billing, attending required training to be provided by the employer.
- High School diploma required, college diploma preferred.
- At least two years’ work experience in social services or other experience supporting people with disabilities.
- Basic computer skills (gchat, email, billing, timesheet entry).
- At least 21-years of age.
