A rapidly growing design-build GC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support PMs on a variety of local commercial projects ranging from $1M-$15M. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience, grow within a supportive team, and build a long-term career in construction.
  • Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination across multiple commercial projects
  • Handle submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and other documentation critical to project execution
  • Assist with managing subcontractors and vendors, ensuring smooth communication and timely delivery
  • Help maintain project schedules and budgets while learning the ins and outs of full-cycle project management
  • Be stationed on-site or in the office depending on project needs, providing hands-on support to the field team
  • Contribute to project planning and problem-solving while growing into a leadership role

  • 1-4 years of experience in construction, ideally in an APM or Project Engineer role
  • Brings a hardworking, self-motivated attitude and is eager to grow within a fast-paced GC environment
  • Holds a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (preferred but not required)
  • Comfortable handling RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and general project support tasks
  • Works well in a collaborative, team-oriented setting and enjoys a culture that values fun and family
  • Adaptable and open to learning, with a desire to take on more responsibility over time
  • Strong communicator, both in the field and in the office, with a proactive mindset
