This position assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee support, and compliance-related tasks.HR Assistant Job Duties:Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Post job openings on job boards and company websites.
  • Schedule and interview candidates.
  • Process new hire onboarding and conduct orientations.
Employee Support
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Help coordinate employee events and engagement activities.
  • Support internal communications and announcements.
Benefits Assistance
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment during onboarding and open enrollment periods.
  • Process benefits changes due to life events (e.g., marriage, birth, loss of coverage).
Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Assist with audits and prepare required documentation.
  • Help maintain confidentiality and data protection standards.
Administrative Support
  • Process incoming employment verification requests from external agencies, lenders, government offices, and former employees.
  • Verify employment status, job titles, dates of employment, and salary information in accordance with company policy and privacy regulations.
  • Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing personnel files.
The starting wage for this position will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

  • Must have previous experience in Human Resources to include compliance training, recruiting, interviewing and hiring.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Professional demeanor and customer service orientation. Strong work ethic with demonstrated flexibility to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with labor laws and HR procedures.
