Situated on 20 scenic acres, our community includes 243 Independent Living apartments, 40 Assisted Living apartments, 20 Memory Support apartments, and a 69-bed Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. We support residents through every stage of aging with comfort, dignity, and personalized care.What You’ll Be DoingWe are seeking a compassionate and experienced Health Services Director to lead our Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Support departments. This vital leadership role ensures exceptional care delivery, regulatory compliance, and a collaborative, resident-centered culture.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations, staffing, and budgets across Health Services
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and clinical documentation standards
  • Lead quality improvement and resident satisfaction initiatives
  • Serve as Compliance & Ethics Officer and HIPAA Privacy Official
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare partners
  • Support the Executive Director with reporting, policy, and team performance
What You’ll Need
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a retirement facility, skilled nursing, or other healthcare environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business or a related field.
  • Valid CA Nursing Home Administrator License.
  • Valid CA RCFE Administrator License is preferred.
  • Current and valid CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
  • Prior progressive leadership experience in a similar setting including budgeting and financial management, department operations, regulatory compliance, program development and management of employees.
  • Working knowledge of long term care facility medical practices and procedures, state and federal privacy laws, state and federal operations regulations, and OSHA.
  • Ability to organize, delegate and manage tasks, resolve complaints and concerns, perform multiple functions simultaneously, function effectively with interruptions, and make effective decisions.
  • Computer systems skills, management and leaderships skills, and communication skills.
Wages
  • $147,600 - $170,000 / annually DOE
