URUS Group has 25 operating companies in 14 countries, $400 million turnover, and employs approximately 2,000 people.Position ObjectiveFarm Systems is looking for an Account Manager and Consultant that will be covering areas across Eastern South Dakota and Western MN to maintain and grow sales within herds throughout the Farm Systems Territory. Also, to carry out on-farm Parlor, Robotic and Data consulting and development of innovative tools and programs.Major Areas of Responsibility
  • Develop and maintain sales with accounts as assigned to achieve budgeted goals
  • Work with a team of Technicians and Route Drivers to maximize sales.
  • Grow sales in terms of both volume and dollars of Equipment and Consumables in assigned herds, while working within established guidelines pertaining to pricing and inventory.
  • Serve as Farm Systems experts to assigned herds and in the industry
  • Deliver Parlor and Robotic value added programs to accounts to assist owners/managers make profitable decisions
  • Assist Technicians and Route Drivers by providing programs and/or technical support
  • Utilize and maintain CRM to document account information, interactions and activities.
  • Communicate details in a timely manner of each herd interaction with local marketing staff.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Business or Economics
  • Have practical experience in sales or consulting is preferred
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment as well as possess effective communication and people skills
  • Willingness to grow and develop both personally and professionally
