Our Opportunity:We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer II at our facility in Bellevue, Washington to design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data aggregate tables and reports/dashboards/BI solutions for analytics and deep business insights.What You'll Do:
  • Implement data ingestion routines both for real time and batch using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes.
  • Provide on-line reporting and analysis using business intelligence tools and a logical abstraction layer against large, multi-dimensional datasets and multiple sources.
  • Gather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture.
  • Produce comprehensive, usable data set documentation, metadata, BI reports, and Dashboards.
  • Examine customer traffic, browsing and purchase behaviors by developing the deepest understanding of business metrics.
  • Conduct deep dive analysis on customer pathing and other website and mobile app interactions to optimize site experience.
  • Use available tools and data (Snowflake, Python, Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.) to construct, maintain, distribute and enhance dashboards and reporting.
  • Ensure analytics implementation provides crystal-clear visibility into the impact and the value of new features and functionality.
  • Build insights and create recommendations via written and verbal communications that can be understood by a broad audience.
  • Local telecommuting permitted up to 3 days a week.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Modeling, Data Modeling, or related field and 3 years of experience.
  • Will also accept a Master's degree and 1 year of experience.
  • Experience must include 1 year with: experiment design, execution, and analysis;
  • Application of analytic skills to integrate data into operational/business planning;
  • Data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Quicksight;
  • Ability to draw insights from data; and
  • Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles.
  • Experience or coursework must include: advanced knowledge of SQL and data modeling;
  • Building automated data warehousing environments for production reports or tables;
  • Redshift, Snowflake DWH's and S3 or similar data lakes;
  • Python/ R or similar coding languages.
  • Local telecommuting permitted up to 3 days a week.
