Reporting to the Production Manager, this role is accountable for ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, optimizing workflows, managing inventory, and leading production team members. The Production Supervisor also acts as a key liaison between departments, helping drive operational excellence, reduce costs, and improve overall product availability and quality.Responsibilities:Operations & Compliance:Develop and manage production schedules and proceduresEnforce sanitation, safety, and compliance standardsCollaborate across departments to ensure seamless operationsMonitor materials and supplies to prevent shortages or excessMaintain and calibrate production equipment for optimal useProvide backup support to the Production ManagerQuality & Efficiency:Administer strict quality control measuresImplement cost-effective strategies to reduce waste and enhance outputCoordinate with marketing, sales, and packaging teams to ensure production aligns with demandContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across workflowsTeam Leadership:Lead and co-manage production team including hiring, scheduling, and performanceTrain new hires and provide ongoing coaching and feedbackFoster a culture of compliance, productivity, and teamworkAct as a go-to resource for SOPs, policies, and day-to-day questionsPromote accountability, recognition, and team engagementMinimum Qualifications:Must be 21 years of age or olderHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAt least 1 year of experience in a production, manufacturing, or cultivation environmentStrong working knowledge of cannabis regulationsAbility to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing prioritiesExcellent time management and organizational skillsClear and professional communication styleMust pass a criminal background checkPhysical and Environmental Requirements:Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs with assistanceAbility to bend, squat, kneel, climb ladders, and stand for extended periodsMust be comfortable working in varied environmental conditions, including noise, dust, odors, and temperature changesExtended computer use and digital documentationFlexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidaysFamiliarity with equipment like pallet jacks, hand trucks, and general toolsPay Range: $55,000 - $65,000MPX NJ encourages applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
