Join our team at Bosch Power Tools as a Maintenance Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our material handling and support equipment. Your expertise will keep our operations humming and help us deliver top-quality tools to our customers.Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Keep our motors, drives, belting, RF scan guns, and label machines in top condition. Dive into pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components to solve any issues.
- Install Equipment: Get hands-on with installing conveyors, stretch wrap machines, sorters, motors, drives, and belts.
- Certifications: Earn certifications on scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts to ensure you can operate all necessary equipment safely.
- Follow Procedures: Adhere to escalation plans and working instructions to keep processes running smoothly.
- Support & Improve: Contribute to Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP) and enhance 5S standards.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with engineers and team members, sharing your equipment knowledge and experience to foster a collaborative environment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years as an industrial maintenance mechanic/technician.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading, writing, and math is essential. Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley) is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical systems, and basic computer skills are preferred.
