  • Review Plans/Specifications as needed to provide detailed cost estimate/budget for site/civilservices on projects.
  • Develop a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project.
  • Responsible for ordering/procuring needed materials on projects and coordinatingwith vendors on submittal requirements and schedule.
  • Updates and tracks project budget to ensure project is below or on budget.
  • Coordinates with estimating on selection of subcontractors working on project.
  • Oversee with Project Manager and Site Foreman that project performance regardingplans/specifications is being met (Quality Control).
  • Supervises site foreman and tradesman. Reviews daily field reports, checks on any reported difficulties, and corrects any safety violations or other reported deficiencies.
  • Tracks and controls Divisional Look-Ahead schedule to ensure respective crews are on-site when needed and informed of responsibilities
  • Coordinates with Director of Operations about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated.
  • Responsible for cataloging and updated project specific site/civil documentation

  • 8+ years experience in site/civil means & methods
  • General knowledge of site/civil equipment capabilities and usage
  • Proficient in site/civil estimating means & methods as well as estimating software programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project Scheduling Software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Software Applications (i.e Microsoft Word, Excell, PowerPoint)
  • Leadership Experience
