As the go-to person for the Neighborhood Program’s Medical Assistants, you would be responsible for scheduling staff for continued education and training, leading daily huddles, serving as a facilitator for both patients and staff, and representing the practice when handling patient issues and complaints. There will be additional responsibilities as assigned by your manager.
  • Leadership experience
  • Promotion to Grade Level 23 if applicable
  • Hourly rate increase based on new responsibilities if applicable

  • High School diploma or GED
  • CPR certification or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program, or relevant experience
  • 2+ years of experience working as a Medical Assistant with Optum
  • 1+ years in your current department
  • Annual review rating minimum of “Meets Expectations” or “Exceeds Expectations”

The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment.
