- Communication: On support they interact with 14 teams, sales, GTM, other support teams, L1 team, handle releases
- Incident support and management as well as engineering
- Optimizing snowflake and databricks for clients
- Working frontend, backend, and data layer (50/50)
- Some design work a lot of troubleshooting (2 weeks out of 8 they're on support)
- Sunrest and TRCP/GRPC
- Something that would set them apart being proactive vs waiting to be assigned something
Support Team
Team Focus Area(s): Slingshot is an React application that connects directly to external customers Snowflake/Databricks accounts in order to display costs/usage and other metrics. We provide recommendations on how to reduce costs by applying schedules to their warehouses within snowflake and databricks. Galaxy is taking on a support role so we will be resolving long standing issues and working across the entire application, front end, backend, and tooling.
Skills you will gain in this role: Design work, Troubleshooting, Development, Entire tech stack below, Communication skills with product, business and generally making some of the biggest impact within the slingshot application.
