We work directly with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to create actionable intelligence from the massive volumes of Geospatial Intelligence data to give our intel and combat organizations the decision advantage over our near-peer adversaries.What You’ll Get to Do:As a Senior Cloud Engineer/System Admin on the SAFFIRE System Team, you will be working closely with Release Trains, Agile Teams, Security, and the rest of the Systems Team by providing and maintaining the environments needed to develop and fielding advanced intelligence capabilities. This includes configuration management of hardware and software environment, supporting the Desktop development environment, providing cloud solutions, implementing infrastructure as code, and asset management and procurement. You will be a key member of the team, where the rubber meets the road, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government’s most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies in Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and DevSecOps.More About the Role:Build and maintain infrastructure as code for cloud-based servicesProcure, build and maintain configuration management for on-prem hardwareProvide and maintain standard Linux and Windows operating systems environmentsResponsible for asset management reporting and trackingProcure, install, and manage software licensesAssist in establishment, maintenance and troubleshooting of cloud-based and on-prem networkingAutomate development and operation processes to ensure reliability and repeatabilityYou’ll Bring These Qualifications:Current Top Secret Security Clearance, preferably a Top Secret SCI with a current polygraphInformation Assurance/DoD 8570 certification IAT Level II or higher (like Security+) or willing to obtain within 6 monthsExperience with AWS InfrastructureExperience with infrastructure as code conceptsExperience managing unclassified and classified development environments including workstations, servers, and GPU assetsKnowledge on how to build, configure, and administrate all aspects of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 & 8Must be able to apply security hardness according to DISA STIG requirementsUnderstanding of network configuration in cloud and on-prem environmentsExperience with building and deploying Elastic Stack clusters for data and logsStrong grasp of LinuxThese Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:Experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar IaC technologyExperience procuring equipment for government contracts and asset managementAWS Certification - SysOps or DevOps or ArchitectExperience managing hybrid on-prem / cloud operating environmentsExperience with CICD pipelines and GitOps (like ArgoCD)Experience with container management/orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, RKE2) and/or Platform as a Service (e.g., Openshift)Experience with Helm charts, Kustomize, and/or updating k8s manifestsCompany Overview:CACI is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
