
Informatics Supervisor

1. Supervise analyst resources to ensure performance against organizational metrics and criteria as identified by leadership.
2. Collaborate with branch leadership to optimize usage of departmental dashboards, tools, and materials within the EMR platform.
3. Prioritize workload of analyst resources. *
4. Participate in change management planning activities and approvals. *
5. Assist in the definition and operations of the superuser organization.*
6. Understand and support ITIL support methodology in management of operations. *
7. Create and disseminate customer communication for system changes and enhancements. *
8. Acts as a subject matter expert as related to Epic Garden Plot and associated system.*
9. Collaborates in-person to stay adept of patient facing challenges and efficiencies. *
10. Works in close partnership with technical teams to ensure systems and applications are delivering optimal benefit to the organization.*
11. Documents current state workflow diagrams. *
12. Ensures business continuity plans are maintained. *
13. Participate/Leads tabletop exercises for business continuity and cybersecurity.*
14. Assess risk and remediation plans in partnership with regulation and compliance counterparts. *
15. Perform EMR build after approval within governance process. *
16. Organized and participates in team meetings, committees, and Marketing activities. *
17. Travel to various locations, including occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.*
18. Participate as an active team member in a Patient Centered Medical Home.
19. Maintain regular, in person, work attendance and punctuality, as scheduled. *
20. Understand and support IT governance processes. *
21. Other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
⦁ Master's degree with a focus in Informatics, Business, or IT related field or have an equivalent of four years' experience in clinical healthcare with and IT focus, OR;
⦁ Bachelor's degree with a focus in Informatics, Business, or IT related field or have an equivalent of six years' experience in clinical healthcare with and IT focus, OR;
⦁ Associate's degree with a focus in Informatics, Business, or IT related field or have an equivalent of eight years' experience in clinical healthcare with and IT focus.
Experience:
⦁ At least two years' experience leading midsize projects
⦁ Two years' clinical experience in an ambulatory setting
⦁ Epic Ambulatory, Patient Billing, or Cadence certification
⦁ Practical workflow assessment / translation work history
⦁ Advance reporting experience
⦁ Communication within a training context
