An internationally ranked architecture and engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to help them deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment at their Portland, OR office.Your Day IncludesPlan and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard accepted methodsPerform detailed phases of engineering work on major projects or total engineering work on projects of smaller or moderate scopeDevise new approaches and solutions to problems encountered and communicate changes to the teamSupervise and coordinate the work of less experienced engineers and designers and be responsible for checking a portion or all of the drawings completed on the project within the disciplineWrite portions or all of the specifications and assist in or prepare total cost estimatesMust HavesBachelor's degree in EngineeringEIT/FE requiredPE or PE-tracked preferred, plus two (2) or more years of experience as an Engineer 3 or the same educational, certification, and registration requirements as above with five (5) or more years of related practical experience with former employer(s) requiredMust have 4-6 years of experience and be able to independently lead a projectMust have HVAC and Piping design experienceRevit experience and able to independently model if required preferredP.S.In addition to offering a comprehensive health, dental, and vision package, we also provide PTO and paid holidays.If you have the necessary qualifications and are excited about this opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
