With our engagement program, volunteer days and energetic culture, we might be the team for you!What You'll Do:As Production Supervisor, you'll be overseeing syrup, sauce and beverage production functions, with 20 to 40 direct reports. This is key to our success, and so are you! Are coaching and developing employees something you're passionate about? Do you have an eye for process efficiencies and continuous improvement? You'll collaborate with other teams, coordinating production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control departments to achieve sustained and improved efficiencies. - Support the SQF Food Safety and Quality System by implementing and following procedures, taking part in GMP inspections, conducting and/or participating in internal audits and management reviews and participating in training.
- Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, developing, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Analyzes work orders to estimate employee hours and create equipment operating schedules that meet both internal and external needs.
- Directs employees in adjusting machines and equipment to address products which fail to meet standards.
- Develops capital equipment justifications for equipment, tools, and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle times.
- A four-year degree preferred in engineering, food technology or business.
- 2 to 5 years' experience in beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical or related manufacturing.
- Understanding of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodology.
- Technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of HACCP, SQF, GMP's, safety, sanitation and preventative maintenance preferred.
- Use of MS products, experience with SAP is preferred.
- Team leadership and development. experience is desirable.
- Appropriate behavioral communication and interpersonal skills.
