
Sr Compensation Analyst

The incumbents in this position will have an expectation of a high sense of urgency, strong project management skills and the ability to deliver accurate work in a highly complex and stressful environment.Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:Provides thorough analysis of Compensation Issues
- Conducts comprehensive analysis, summarizes information and assists in the development of recommended actions in support of compensation policies and procedures. Administers the collection, consolidation and interpretation of data required by leadership.
- Conducts complex market assessments and analysis for assigned areas/facilities, using these findings prepares recommendation and financial impact analyses, partnering with human resources, operational and financial leaders.
- Prepares and reviews market survey submissions; partners with external and internal resources as required.
- Reviews job descriptions to ensure they accurately describe job content and qualifications. Analyzes positions to determine FLSA classification and reviews market data to make salary grade recommendation in accordance with the Systems compensation structure.
- Prepares reports, evaluations, and other research regarding compliance issues and filings; conduct analysis to evaluate effectiveness and alignment Provides Compensation Consulting to hiring leaders
- Guides facility human resources with compensation related processes; evaluates issues and provides problem resolution; handles complex program interpretations and resolutions.
- With leadership, develops and delivers compensation training to human resources team members; participates in and provides input to overall human resources training for compensation content.
- Conducts research to understand external market trends and practices; develops recommendations to incorporate relevant findings into System practices. Project Management
- May provide day to day project management and analysis in the planning, coordination, administration, and reporting of annual processes such as annual merit increases and annual incentive payoutsRequired Minimum Education:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field. All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.Additional License(s) and Certification(s):Required Minimum Experience:Minimum 5 years of related experience including job evaluation, pay equity analysis, data analysis, and survey completion. RequiredRequired Minimum Skills:Advanced Analytical capability, Very Strong Verbal & Written Communication with comfort in public speaking.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills with expert Excel skills and Access familiarity.
Project Management background helpful as is experience with e-Prism and Lawson.
