Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.Job SummaryThe Inbound Production Support team are crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a warehouse. The Coordinator is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including managing inbound shipments, coordinating with suppliers and carriers, and maintaining accurate inventory records.About the Consumer Health Logistics CenterThe Consumer Health Logistics Center (CHLC) is Cardinal Health’s newest Pharmaceutical Supply Chain operation in Groveport, Ohio. This facility, featuring some of the latest innovations in automation technology, is approximately 350,000 square feet and picks, packs, and ships consumer health products.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the monthly vendor scorecard.Participates in monthly business reviews with sourcing managers and suppliers. Provides a review of the monthly scorecard.Completes daily delivery audits and provides feedback to suppliers as needed.Vendor Relations - responsible for communicating issues on behalf of the operations team. Documents findings along with pictures and tracks performance improvement with a supplier engagement log.Completes Cardinal internal delivery paperwork audits.Emails empty pallet vendor when load is full and ready for pickup.Files pack slips, bill of lading (BOLs), unloader paperwork - daily.Use Enterprise Application Integration ​inbound (EAI IB) planning tool to create unloader packets for the next shift.Communicates with Operations leads to assign loads to specific doors.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience, preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
  • Ability to follow direction and change priorities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Basic proficiency in English, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
