This position will be responsible for analyzing and coordinating the logistical functions of a firm or organization. You will be responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, Including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposition of resources. Project specific duties include performing logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product. You will develop and implement logistics program activities including ILS, technical documentation, RAM, provisioning, etc. You will also coordinate efforts of subcontractors and field service personnel; Resolve logistics problems and compile data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.Position Responsibilities:·Ensure all logistics operations are conducted in accordance with applicable government regulations, compliance standards, and contractual obligations, including federal and international import/export controls (e.g., ITAR, EAR), and government property management requirements.·Oversee and coordinate international shipping and receiving operations, ensuring proper documentation, customs clearance, and adherence to international trade compliance and security requirements.·Manage the receipt of materials and products, including inspection, verification, and timely entry into government inventory management systems (e.g., PIEE, DPAS, GCSS-Army, or other agency-specific platforms), to ensure accurate recordkeeping and accountability.·Maintain and update inventory records throughout the product lifecycle, including internal allocation, tracking, distribution, and final disposition, in compliance with government standards and audit requirements.·Coordinate with vendors and field service personnel to resolve logistics issues and ensure compliant and timely movement of materials.·Support audits, inspections, and reviews by government agencies or third parties pertaining to compliance, inventory management, and lifecycle tracking.Qualifications:·Associates degree or 2 years of technical school·3 years of experience as a Logistician·Substitute for minimum education: 5 years of experience as a LogisticianCompany Benefits:At Nexagen, we believe in taking care of our team from day one!
