This role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools to streamline workflows, enhance reporting, and support business operations.As a Power Platform Developer, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to create innovative applications, dashboards, and automation solutions that meet organizational needs. You will leverage your expertise in Power Apps, Power BI, and Dynamics 365 to design scalable, data-driven tools that improve efficiency and decision-making.This is a multi-year consulting engagement, ideal for a versatile developer with strong technical skills, a deep understanding of data visualization, and a passion for delivering impactful solutions.Key Responsibilities
  • App Development: Design, build, and deploy custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps to support business workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Data Visualization: Develop and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards, applying best practices in data modeling and visualization.
  • Platform Integration: Configure and customize Dynamics 365 CRM solutions and integrate Power Platform apps with other enterprise systems.
  • Automation Solutions: Build workflows and process automation using Power Automate and other Power Platform tools.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business users to gather requirements, provide technical recommendations, and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • System Support: Maintain and troubleshoot Power Platform solutions, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability.
  • Data Management: Utilize SQL and DAX to create calculations, manage datasets, and ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Environment Management: Assist in managing environments, applying patches, and supporting upgrades across development and production systems.
  • Documentation & Training: Create technical documentation and user guides, and provide training to help end-users maximize solution adoption.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Microsoft’s latest Power Platform updates and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.
Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of IT experience in application design, development, and testing using various programming languages and databases.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 CRM technologies.
  • Strong background working in SaaS and PaaS environments.
  • Proven expertise in building solutions with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Technical Competencies:
  • Proficiency in Power BI development, including data modeling, report design, and dashboard optimization.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL for data manipulation, extraction, and integration.
  • Strong skills in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for building calculations and metrics.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and enterprise reporting solutions.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C#, Python, JavaScript, JSON, or SQL.
  • Experience integrating and customizing Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications preferred.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with both technical teams and business users.
  • Highly adaptable, self-driven, and capable of delivering in a fast-paced environment.
