- Develop detailed analysis of category, PepsiCo and competitor performance including identifying drivers of sales and share changes
- Lead quarterly and annual cross-functional business reviews with a focus on identifying opportunities for growth
- Utilize syndicated consumer and market data for the purposes of uncovering compelling insights
- Leverage member and consumer insights to develop compelling and relevant retailer sell stories.
- Integrate information from multiple sources and develop actionable insights and recommendations
- Keeps abreast of developments and best practices in category management. It is expected that you will pursue the knowledge needed to improve departmental capabilities and improve professional competence.
- Participate in account strategic planning process.
- Act as a strong, clear, objective, and inspiring voice of enterprise Customer Team
- Utilize both internal and 3rd party consumer/market trends and analyses to inform portfolio strategies for the Customer Team.
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $118,700 - $198,800.

- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.

- Bachelor's Degree, MBA a plus
- 5+ years of category management experience; CPG industry experience preferred
- 5+ years of experience in analyzing and interpreting data
- Solid planning/project management skills: capable of managing major projects simultaneously
- Leadership skills: ability to influence activities of customer and individual team members towards goals and ability to lead and contribute in a cross-functional team environment
- Customer development skills: customer facing experience collaborating with merchants preferred
- Analytical skills: ability to link strategies and objectives to develop a plan
- Strong communication: must be comfortable creating, messaging, and presenting ideas and concepts to groups of varying seniority and levels within an organization
- Proficiency with syndicated and account data sources (e.g. IRI, Nielsen, Household Panel, Madrid) to derive insights and action
- Self-motivated and ability to effectively work independently as well as collaboratively across multiple functions
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Willingness and ability to travel 10% of the time
