- Assembling and wiring harnesses, control boxes, and related components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Cut, strip, and terminate wires to specified lengths and connections.
- Install electrical components and hardware, such as connectors, switches, and relays, into control boxes.
- Use various hand and power tools, such as crimpers, soldering irons, and wire strippers.
- Conduct visual and functional inspections of completed assemblies to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of assembled products to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to address any assembly or design issues.
- Work among a team of individuals assembling products for our customers.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment through compliance with procedures, policies and regulations.
- All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to understand written work instructions and schematics for a wide range of products to properly assemble the final product.
- Experience in electrical assembly, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong manual dexterity handling small components and tools.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Perform prolonged periods of standing, bending, performing repetitive tasks and reaching, up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to work independently with general supervision.
- Basic computer skills.
- English writing skills.
- United States citizenship.
- Eligibility to obtain a DoD security clearance.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Three (3)+ years of direct experience.
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to electrical assembly.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Proficient and familiarity with standard parts and tools utilized in Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) processes.
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours as needed.
- J-STD-001 Solder Certification.
- ESD safe procedures and process oriented.
