
Compounding Pharmacy Technician

- Prepare sterile medications including pre-filled syringes with exact volumes and air-free contents.
- Compound medications under pharmacist supervision using aseptic techniques.
- Maintain sterility in ISO-classified environments (laminar flow hoods, cleanrooms).
- Follow strict gowning and hygiene protocols to prevent contamination.
- Document environmental conditions and compounding records with precision.
- Operate and maintain sterile compounding equipment (IV pumps, mixers, filtration systems).
- Manage inventory, conduct audits, and support procurement to ensure supply continuity.

, and state regulations. * Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.What You Bring:
- Experience in sterile compounding (hospital or specialty pharmacy preferred).
- Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician status with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
- PTCB certification preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a sterile compounding training program or certification (e.g., PTCB Sterile Compounding Certification) is a plus.
