Duties:
- Operate forklift to pick and pack orders accurately
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage
- Manage shipping and receiving processes efficiently
- Load and unload trucks with products and materials
- Utilize pallet jacks for moving goods within the warehouse
- Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory and orders
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in the distribution center
Experience:
- Proven experience in order picking, materials handling, shipping, and receiving
- Proficiency in loading and unloading techniques
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory control
- Prior work in a distribution center or warehouse management role is preferred
This position requires individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate would be in line for the assistant warehouse manager position in time.
