Job Title: Structural DesignerJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Structural Designer with approximately 4 years of professional experience to join our team in Nashville, TN. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a motivated designer looking to grow their technical skills and contribute to a variety of civil and structural engineering projects.Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of structural designs and drawings for buildings and infrastructure projects.
  • Perform structural analysis under the guidance of other engineers.
  • Create and modify models and construction documents using CAD and BIM software.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure design accuracy and project coordination.
  • Support the preparation of technical reports, calculations, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
  • Lead structural analysis and design efforts for a variety of civil engineering projects.
  • Oversee the development of detailed drawings and models using CAD and BIM software.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, calculations, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.
  • Support project planning, budgeting, and client communication.
Essential Skills
  • Approximately 4 years of experience in structural or civil design.
  • Solid understanding of structural analysis and engineering fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in CAD and BIM modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Must have structural design experience in Revit.
  • Ideal project experience includes wastewater, industrial, commercial or multi-family.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
