All West Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic and compassionate team!In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our Veterinarians during daily surgical procedures by assisting with patient preparation and recovery, maintaining detailed surgical records, and providing exceptional, client-focused communication. You will proactively anticipate the needs of your team and work closely to implement the veterinarian's orders while maintaining a smooth, efficient workflow and upholding the highest standards of patient care.This is an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Assistant with strong skills in surgery and anesthesia assistance who is eager to take their career to the next level, fully utilize their talents, and grow in a supportive, team-oriented environment.This is a flexible, full-time, or part-time position, with a 5/8 or 4/10 schedule and availability needed on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.Full-time benefits and compensation**:
  • Compensation: $20-25 per hour, for each hour worked*
  • Bonus package: $500-$2,000 based on experience and licensure
  • CE allowance: Up to $1,000 annually based on licensure

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
  • 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
  • Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Anesthesia induction and monitoring
  • Dental prophy and radiographs
  • IV Catheter placement
  • Exotic Animal Handling is a Plus
