- Manage auto and general liability claims from initial report through resolution, including coverage analysis, strategic planning, and settlement
- Conduct thorough investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, reviewing telematics, and maintaining detailed claim documentation
- Collaborate with TPAs, adjusters, attorneys, medical providers, and vendors to drive efficient and cost-effective outcomes
- Establish and monitor claim reserves, review medical bills, pursue subrogation, and oversee salvage and recovery efforts
- Ensure compliance with state, OSHA, DOT, industry, and company requirements, maintaining accurate and timely reporting
- Partner with the safety team to analyze incidents, identify risks, implement corrective actions, and support return-to-work programs
- Prepare and present claim reports, loss analyses, trend reviews, and KPI dashboards to leadership and insurance carriers
- Deliver training to supervisors and staff on incident reporting, claims prevention, and safety best practices
- Support claim analytics by identifying patterns, tracking KPIs, and recommending process improvements
- 3+ years of claims management experience, preferably in telecommunications, construction, or a related industry
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, or related field; professional certification (AIC, CPCU, or ARM) preferred
- Strong knowledge of auto liability, general liability, and workers' compensation laws
- Proficiency with claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to influence safety behaviors across all organizational levels and build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting abilities; skilled in analyzing loss data, trends, and root causes to drive risk mitigation
- Capable of conducting field investigations and site visits, including climbing, walking on uneven terrain, and working in varied environmental conditions (weather, dust, noise, hazardous materials) with appropriate protective measures
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, bend, stoop, and reach when collecting evidence or inspecting damage
- Willing to travel up to +/- 25% annually as needed
- Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver's license is required if the role involves driving
- Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
