Our core collective responsibility is to continuously assess practices and policies and transform the world we live in by eliminating inequities.Anticipated Start Date:June 2025Position Summary:The Media Assistant provides operation of Media Services and the Media Services Assistant’s main function is to provide event support and classroom technology support.Example of Job Duties:Under the direction of the Director of Education Technology and Media Services, the Media Assistant is responsible for effective performance in these essential duties:
- Operation of Media Services technology throughout the campus.
- Event AV technical support.
- Classroom and conference room maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Photos and video support as needed.
- Experience using and managing classroom control systems (e.g., AMX, Creston, and Extron), PA systems, and digital signage (e.g., VXT, Visix).
- Experience training faculty in the use of classroom equipment including Smart Boards, Smart TVs, and other instructional technology.
- Experience managing student workers and/or paraprofessional staff.
- Experience communicating with technical vendors for advanced troubleshooting and repairs.
