- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Identify customer needs, conducting market research, and translating insights into product requirements.
- Oversee the product development process, working closely with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure successful product execution.
- Manage the product from ideation to launch and beyond, including ongoing improvement and maintenance.
- Collaborate with various teams (e.g., engineering, marketing, sales, legal) to ensure a cohesive product strategy and execution.
- Prioritize features and allocating resources effectively to maximize product impact.
- Track key metrics, analyzing data, and using insights to inform product decisions and improvements.
- Communicate product strategy and progress to stakeholders and managing expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Effective presentation skills to all levels, from senior management to line/staff associates.
- Experience with cost benefit analysis in preparing/reviewing business cases.
- Familiarity with compliance (regulatory, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), etc.) and governance issues.
- 5 years minimum related work experience.
- Product management experience to include experience leading large mission critical products that involve significant business and technology change.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize work in order to achieve critical deadlines.
- Superior supervisory and matrix management skills; demonstrated ability to oversee tasks delegated to others.
- Master of Business Administration or Finance.
- PMP certification, or equivalent, or completed work towards PMP certification, or equivalent.
