- Manage the recruitment and hiring of the Transportation Construction Inspectors and track using the statewide SharePoint database. Initiate and send reports to Main Office as required.
- Implement new Main Office mandates regarding construction projects (e.g., transitioning to using ProjectWise as a main source of project document retention).
- Administer the Construction Group's CSMIN contract providing construction field offices with high-speed internet, computers, printers, helpdesk support, etc.
- Monitor the Regional Construction group's overtime usage and track/analyze use against the allotted amount.
- Work closely with the Regional Compliance Specialist to aid in approvals, monitoring and reporting in support of the compliance program for Capital Construction contracts.
- Organize and maintain active construction project files in support of the Regional Capital Program, as well as general office filing systems.
- Act as liaison between the staff and Regional Training Coordinator to ensure staff are up to date with all State-mandated trainings.
- Review Consultant Term Agreement estimates and approve for payment.
