We are seeking high-potential MBA candidates to start the program as a Strategic Planner, a unique opportunity to shape the future of Emerson's business strategy while accelerating your career.As a Strategic Planner, you will work closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams to drive enterprise-wide initiatives that influence the direction of Emerson's global operations. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about solving complex business problems, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to make a measurable impact.Rotation 1 - Strategic Planner: Begin your journey at Emerson's global headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. Join the Corporate Strategic Planning team and contribute to high-visibility projects that support long-term growth and transformation. You'll collaborate with senior leaders, analyze market and competitive dynamics, and help shape strategic priorities. Participate in leadership development programs, executive mentorship, and networking opportunities.In Rotation 1, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Analyze strategic positions of Emerson peers and competitors
  • Identify strategic partners and evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
  • Prepare strategy presentations for Emerson executives and the Emerson Board of Directors
  • Support leadership in annual strategic planning exercises and conferences
  • Perform internal consulting engagements to improve the performance of Emerson's business units and world area organizations
Rotation 2: We will work together to identify a second role within one of Emerson's business units that aligns with your skills, aspirations, and interests-while offering the best opportunities for growth and advancement. Common second roles include, but are not limited to, product management, operations, sales, and strategic planning. During this rotation, you will continue to build your capabilities by leading initiatives that support business goals, drive operational excellence, and contribute to Emerson's global workforce strategy.In the program, you will receive:

For this Role, You Will Need:
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, science, business, or a related field
  • Recently completed or are working towards the completion of an MBA
  • You have at least 1-year of relevant experience
