Position SummaryThe Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking applicants at the assistant scientist level. This is a scientist track non tenure position.The successful candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in a neuroscience-related discipline and more than 2 years of postdoctoral fellowship training. The candidate must have expertise in conducting research in the fields of Alzheimer's disease, other aging-associated neurodegenerative diseases, and normal brain aging. The candidate will be expected to perform services that are necessary to implement education programs and academic objectives of the department. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential. It is highly desirable for the holders of this position to develop research projects with strong potential for long-term NIH funding and to have demonstrated the ability to collaborate with others.Indianapolis is the capital and most populous city in the State of Indiana.
