HVAC Service Tech

- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, service, and repairs on residential and commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, rooftop units, chillers, boilers, air handling units, and hot water tanks
- Install and maintain HVAC equipment with precision, including copper pipe sweating and system calibration
- Service and troubleshoot refrigeration units (large and small), temperature/humidity control systems, air compressors, backup generators, and high-pressure hot water systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance, clean, adjust, and repair systems to ensure optimal performance
- Ensure all systems meet compliance, health, and safety standards
- Temperature & Air Quality Control
- Monitor and adjust temperature, humidity, and airflow in different settings (residential homes, healthcare facilities, large commercial buildings)
- Calibrate thermostats, sensors, and control systems
- Maintain accurate service records for inspections, maintenance schedules, and repairs
- Follow OSHA, EPA, and industry best practices for safety and compliance
- 5+ years of HVAC experience (residential, commercial, or mixed-use preferred)
- Stationary engineering background a plus
- Skilled in installation, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems and refrigeration units
- Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance protocols and industry standards
- Must have own tools (e.g., electric testers, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.)
- OSHA 10 certification required
- EPA certification preferred
