Adecco is currently hiring a dependable and safety-focused Plant Operator to join our client's team at the North Antelope Rochelle Mine (NARM)-the largest surface coal mine in the U.S., located in Wright, Wyoming. This role involves operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining crushing and conveying equipment while ensuring safe and efficient plant operations. NARM is a high-performance site with a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Promote and uphold the company's core values and “Safety as a Way of Life” cultureOperate plant systems and support equipment, including the control room, train loadout, and hydraulic/water pumpsPerform routine wash-downs, preventative maintenance (PM), and repairs on crushing and conveying equipmentConduct safety observations and complete monthly safety interactionsCut and weld, including passing a ½ inch plate test in both vertical and horizontal positionsTroubleshoot equipment issues and respond quickly to resolve plant operational problemsPerform other duties as assigned by the companyWork Schedule & Benefits:Must be available for rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as neededOvertime availability as requiredBenefits start on Day 1, including:401(k) with company matchLow-cost medical, dental, and vision insuranceQualifications & Experience:High school diploma or GED equivalent requiredMinimum 6 months of plant or mill experience requiredWelding and cutting experience, including ability to pass plate tests, requiredComputer proficiency preferred (SAP experience is a plus)Knowledge of hydraulic and water pump systems preferredAbility to work independently and communicate effectivelyDemonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to train others in plant operations is a plusPhysical Requirements:Stand or sit for up to 4 hours per shiftClimb stairs, ladders, and access elevated areas as neededLift and carry 10-50 lbs. frequently without mechanical assistancePerform repetitive hand/wrist motions with strong coordination and reflexesWork in extreme weather conditions, noise, dust, confined spaces, and varying lightingWear required PPE including hearing, eye, and footwear protectionFlexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidaysPay Details: $30.96 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
